  • Kids aged 6 to 14. Campers are grouped into cabins by age, Rookies (6 to 8), Crew (9 to 11) and Captains (12 to 14), so everyone spends the day with kids their own size.

  • A day camp, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Captains (12 to 14) get one optional overnight campout at the end of each session.

  • Camp is at 1200 Pine Ridge Road in Lakeview, on forty acres of woods with a private lake. The bus runs from four stops in town, and the ride is included in every session. Your stop and pickup time arrive in the welcome email.

    • 9:00 first mission block

  • Yes. Pick favorite missions on the registration form. Every camper tries all four each week, and favorites get extra time in the Friday choice block.

  • Light rain doesn't stop the trail riders. For storms, everyone moves to the covered pavilion, the art barn and the stage hall right away, and lake time waits until 30 minutes after the last thunder.

  • One counselor for every six campers. The director, the nurse and our certified lifeguards are on top of that ratio, not part of it.

  • Every staff member passes a background check, holds current first aid and CPR certification, and completes a week of on-site training before campers arrive.

  • List them in the medical notes when you register. Our nurse calls every family who flags a need before the session starts, medication stays in a locked cabinet, and the camp kitchen is nut-free.

  • Only the adults listed on your registration. They show photo ID the first time, and you can change the list anytime by calling the office.

    • A refillable water bottle
    • Swimsuit and towel
    • Sunscreen and a hat
    • Closed-toe shoes for the trail
    • A packed lunch (no nuts, please)
    • A change of clothes in a labeled bag
  • Phones, tablets, game consoles and anything precious. Campers who need to reach home can use the office phone anytime, no questions asked.

  • Each two-week session is $395, bus included. Siblings get 10% off, and so do campers booked for the full summer.
